conditional statements - In Liquid, can we display an html element in an email according to the messaging used system?

I would like to display a countdown in an email but it only displays for people who have a Gmail email address. I absolutely have to do it in Liquid, I tried to set a condition but it doesn't work. Sorry if the question has already been asked.
